Welcome to the Community Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Recovery Services Center for Galveston and Brazoria Counties 

 The Gulf Coast Center is one of thirty-nine community MHMR centers in the state of Texas providing services, programs and employment assistance for individuals with mental retardation and mental illness,  HIV outreach and substance abuse recovery services under the Texas Commission for Alcohol and Drug Abuse (TCADA). Programs and services offered by the Gulf Coast Center have made progress toward enabling and empowering individuals and their families to live quality lives.
